so b-z b-z

So busy the past couple of weeks until i can't think properly or post properly. Housebandry is not a very leisurely kind of activity. Had washed clothes, washed bedsheets and blankets (how else to abuse the "lovely" weather?), pick up after the dog, get woken up at 4am by the dog who tells u, "eh, all my peeing spots full liaoz", worry about dad's cough in the middle of the night. Thank goodness my prof allows me to do the lit search and editing from home.

Hardly any chance to maple. Most of the waking hours (even weekends) were spent with my futile and complicating search - darn those people who wrote about chilli but dunno wat chilli they used!!! Had to off MSN at times if not pubmed lags on me.

Did some gardening over the weekend and occasionally at night. Thank goodness I had a "manipulative bastard" to accompany and thank goodness the TV is just next to the balcony. I think I'm plumping up - no time to exercise - just sit in front of computer click click click. So, an RA's pay or health, an RA's pay or health. I think I need to an loan on health for the time being.

Looking around, I'd be soooooo verbally screwed at the state of my room - same before exams. Also had to polish windows before I start work proper - at her age, i dun wan my mom climbing around to clean the windows. Very heart throbbing - like watching cliff-hanger without stunt professionals. perhaps by next weekend I can post all the pics - incl the potting mix mixing process.

Oh yes - YEAH blogger back to normal liaoz.

Yeah! Exams are over!!!

Now going to sit one corner and worry about the outcome.

Will definitely miss the freedom of being a student and welcome the freedom to spend my own $$$ next time.

I tot after exams can Maple a bit but then looking at the balcony, I think there's a huge backlog of gardening cum repotting before I hold a garden partay. *Open arms to midnight gardening again* Some more when start work at hospital, may not have free time to do gardening sans the morning watering and the scent of night time flowers. So coincidental that my fave flowers are same colour as my new dispensing jacket lol.

Now enjoying my season 1 Strong Medicine DVDs (YYY must the subtitles be in Portuguese or Spanish oni har?!) while cutting up new flower pots and doing up my new labels for my puny orchids.

Consumers FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!! "Know Your Medicine, Understand Your Options"

PSS is working together with Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) to educate the public & highlight the points about:

- what are the differences between innovator drugs vs. generic drugs,
- transparency in medical bill & public’s awareness towards itemized bill from private GP,
- the consumers’ freedom to shop for best deal for their medications & rights to request for a prescription,
- greater understanding about the common chronic diseases now being treated at community.
There will be a public forum to address these issues. PSS Vice-President, Ms Fatimah MK, will be speaking at the forum together with representative from Singapore Medical Association and Health Sciences Authority. The forum will end with a discussion forum of where SAPI will also join in the panel.

Camera-less for a fortnight

Very sianz. Today want to take picture of the 4 Laelia purpurata var. carnea BBs given by Peggy but then press to take that time, camera LCD says cannot read SD card. Tried to change SD card, camera tell me there's system error.

Now it's in the hands of the Nikon people - thank goodness for the 2 years extended warrant from Harvey Norman's
