This happened way back in OP:
Mother given Vagifem(TM) to strengthen the uterine area to decrease incontinence. Mother only speaks Hokkien and the accompanying son knows Hokkien and English. The filial son offers to translate.

Me: This is Vagifem. Place one tablet into the vagina everyday.....
Son: tak meh jik liap bang c%^& b#$%
.....
I can only !!!! in my head. But the more polite way of saying vagina in Hokkien is ying ting - corresponding to the Mandarin ying dao.
