Consumers FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!! "Know Your Medicine, Understand Your Options"

PSS is working together with Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) to educate the public & highlight the points about:

- what are the differences between innovator drugs vs. generic drugs,
- transparency in medical bill & public’s awareness towards itemized bill from private GP,
- the consumers’ freedom to shop for best deal for their medications & rights to request for a prescription,
- greater understanding about the common chronic diseases now being treated at community.
There will be a public forum to address these issues. PSS Vice-President, Ms Fatimah MK, will be speaking at the forum together with representative from Singapore Medical Association and Health Sciences Authority. The forum will end with a discussion forum of where SAPI will also join in the panel.
