Today went to one of my JJC (super) senior's place to celebrate her BB's 1st month.
MMS picked me an CP from MRT and we zipped over.
*Neber brought camera out so today pic less hor*
The neighbourhood was rather convoluted and it was a rather confusing walk from the carpark to the block.
Spotted a ground floor apartment where a Malay neighbour had a brilliant idea of decorating his garden with coloured water filled bottles. Very attractive and environmentally friendly. Dunno how long he took to collect the bottles or the amount of sugar he had to guzzle. He's just lucky he didn't use metal vessels to rim his garden if not har the same thing could have happened as to those Whatever/Anything cans. Pix here
Went to her place, likely in the midst of giving the princess a dose of milk. Tried to go in only to have her respond "Wait !!! Wait!!! 5 min" Then she said she knew we came because she heard me *bleh*
Princess so cute like mummy that someone else got inspired
Y fed us with
-Durian cake
-Brownies
-Eclairs
-Fruit tartlets
-Otah nuggets
-mee siam
-har gao
-siew mai
-carrot cake
-Curry puff
-red eggs
-ang gu kueh (green bean / peanut)
Then somebody said they got something on and left shortly after.
A few of us stayed until about 3pm then en route home, decided to take a detour to WL. Then we saw the somebodies. Thought they were inspired, turned out to be satisfying their orkid cravings.
Coryanthes already have kidney shaped buds, flowering in 2 week's time. A must-see.
Saw trays full of Dendrobium Enobi Purple Splash from Thailand.
Was tempted to buy another Paph bellatulum (high mortality rate) but then realised that home no space until ended up compoting my paph seedlings.
Also tempted to buy a Brassavola cucullata but then realised late late at night not good for repotting esp when tomorrow got work.
Went home empty handed which is a good thing.
Now back to work on my very nong nong lit update on herbs. This week have to pass everything back to prof. Too much to update @@
